The third series of Australian Gladiators began airing on Channel 7 on 4 May 1996, the week after the last episode from series 2 aired. Twenty four episodes were filmed at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in December 1995 including three three-part specials. A further three episodes were filmed in Birmingham in the summer of 1996 as part of a second Ashes series. An episode filmed in the UK featuring Australian challengers was also shown. The series was once again presented by Kimberley Joseph and Mike Hammond with Tony Schibeci as commentator, Mike Whitney as referee, John Forsyth as assistant referee and the Kix cheerleaders performed in the background of the events. Forsyth would act as the Australian referee in the second Ashes series. Forsyth also acted as referee in some of the Quarter Finals after Mike Whitney caught a virus, and Forsyth's position as assistant referee was taken over by Neil Waldron during some of the Quarter Finals because of this. The third series suffered a slight decline in viewing figures and due to an increase in costs, production on the fourth series was halted. A new series would not air until 2008.
Chinese Paladin 3 is a Chinese television series adapted from the video game of the same title, and, because of an added time travel concept allowing the main protagonist from Chinese Paladin to appear in the setting decades before the events of the first, serves as an interquel to both. It was first released on television stations in mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore in 2009. Chinese Paladin 2 was not filmed because the producers felt that the third game had a much stronger story than the second.

It also airs on BBC America and Comedy Channel in Australia. Ninia Benjamin, Tameka Empson and Jocelyn Jee Esien play a range of comical characters to the unsuspecting public. Varying from a fictional celebrity named Marcia Brown, to a charity worker who only wants a kiss or a hug instead of a cash donation. Two series of the comedy have been broadcast, both were released on a DVD boxset on 22 November 2004; distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment. In an interview concerning her own sketch show, Little Miss Jocelyn, Jocelyn hinted that a third series would probably not be filmed, as they became too well known. The public would either identify them or play along with the sketches, much to the stars' embarrassment. In 2003, they were listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest British comedy acts. In 2007, Trouble TV picked up the series and are showed it Mondays at 9:00pm until the channel got axed. In 2010, Jocelyn Jee Esien starred in her own spin-off to the show called One Non Blonde: Down Under that began to air on the 21st Of September. In it she takes three of her characters on a tour of New Zealand.

3 Minute Wonder is a short Channel 4 television slot that broadcasts first time directors' three-minute TV programmes in the middle of the channel's weekday primetime schedule. It offers first-time directors and assistant producers the opportunity to air their work to a large audience, and in doing so, to take a first step into the competitive UK film industry. The 3 Minute Wonder strand is part of the Channel 4's 4Talent initiative to help new talent break into the very competitive UK television industry. Other projects in the scheme include FourDocs and the Channel 4 Sheffield Pitch documentary competition. Channel 4 offers new directors £4000 and their assistance in making their shorts which are then broadcast at 7.55pm every weekday. The films shown on the series are primarily documentaries that generally highlight a current issue that is not in the public eye, for instance synesthesia or domestic abuse. It has previously featured Karl Pilkington in a series of 4 and was mentioned on The Ricky Gervais Show. Other Channel 4 schemes which support new directors include the Channel 4 Education series My Crazy Life, currently in its second series airing June 2007.
